snickerdoodle
A small board for big ideas.
A 2015 product video for San Francisco-based krtkl inc. Made by Romy Randev.
The board and the story
Hardware with room to change.
krtkl’s snickerdoodle used a Xilinx Zynq system-on-chip, pairing a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with reconfigurable FPGA logic. The business-card-sized board also integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Its configurable I/O offered a flexible starting point for robotics, drones and computer-vision projects.[1][2][3]
Made during the 2015 crowdfunding campaign, the video leads with the urge to create something different, then explains how the board’s programmable hardware and wireless connectivity could help makers move from an idea to a working system.[3][4]
